So sorry to have to leave a negative, I would like to start with the positives though. Item arrived quickly and seller was kind enough to enclose a warning about discoloration regarding the type of soap I had ordered. She did offer to replace the soap should I have problems with discoloration (I had no problems with discoloration). Item was as pictured and fragrance was as ordered. n nI did suffer a burn after touching the soap. My doctor advised me to use vinager to stop the burning and prescribed me silvadine (spelling?) burn cream. I did not suffer long term damage-I guess I'm pretty thick skinned. n nI am absolutely distraught to have to leave a negative and considered just ignoring feedback altogether (I AM SO SORRY) but I am more afraid that someone else may be injured if you don't check your formula. A few people I know in the skin care industry (I am clueless when it comes to making soap) said perhaps the fragrance (it was very strong) could have been overmeasured or perhaps it was 'lye-heavy'. n nI am so very sorry to leave a negative, I just hope with some additional skin testing and maybe a recipe change you can put out a wonderful product-it does look beautiful and you have wonderful customer service. n nI am so very sorry for this. Leaving a negative (in my mind) feels worse for me than the soap burn. I refused to come back to etsy for a very long time hoping to avoid leaving this feedback. n
